Rivet-Reading leveled books and interest topics.

Hi everyone. There have been issues with people accessing Tumble books and other sites for reading materias.

This site has books with a variety of themes and different interests. You will have to ask your child's teacher for the appropriate instructional level of reading for your child.
It is very important to have a 'good-fit' book in order that you and your child do not get frustrated with the level of reading being either too difficult or too easy to provide a challenge.

Math Card Games

These are supplemental to Ms. Whalen's and Mr. N. Scully's Math posts on their teacher pages. This is not to replace what they have, merely to support what they have posted.

eBooKids

This site, ebookids is a site that you may search by: Theme; Age; Duration; language.

This site has books in many languages, but the focus should be english and some french for Post Intensive French (grade 4/5) at Mr. Scully's request on his teacher page.

National Film Board of Canada

I am pasting this link to the National Film Board of Canada in order to provide supplemental family reading, films etc.

This is not meant to take the place of what the staff has posted, however, it is for your perousal.

These links are in reference to several important topics when considering  our present situation. Much of it is in terms that younger children will understand.

They include:
1.) Social Distancing
 2.) Information on the coronavirus
 3.) Yoga
 4.) Self-Regulation
 5.) Feelings
 6.) Mindfulness
