Orange Shirt Day September 30th. In recognition of this day, Harcourt Elementary students and staff are asked to wear an orange shirt on Friday, Sept. 29th. The Orange Shirt recognizes the harm done to generations of children by the Indian Residential Schools and is an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that every child matters.
Reminder to parents that students only have a half day of school. Early dismissal for students to enable staff the opportunity to attend professional learning sessions will take place.
The principal, students and staff of Harcourt school will be hosting their very first Art Exhibition. The event will take place on May 25, between 6:00-7:00pm. Refreshments will be served and donations will be accepted at the door. The proceeds collected will go directly back into the Art program budget. They would like to thank everyone in advance and hope that everyone enjoys this lovely event.
April 23rd to 29th is National Volunteer Week. Here at Harcourt School, we have the best volunteers. Thank you for your hours of hard work you put in to keep the programs at our school running and making our school a happy and healthy place to learn!
Harcourt Elementary School has been very fortunate to receive a grant from the province of New Brunswick. It will be provided through the Wellness Branch of the Department of Social Development.
This will help to implement the initiatives of the Province's Wellness Strategy.
Many thanks to the Province of New Brunswick...a great place for children to live and learn!
