This year's recipient of the Turnaround Achievement Award at Harcourt School was Shawna Goodine.
Shawna has shown great academic improvement over the past two years, especially this year.
She was recognized at a dinner, as well as all the other recipients in District 16, at a dinner in Miramichi.

The students and staff of Harcourt Elementary School would like to invite everyone to an Open House to celebrate the retirement of our principal MAURICE RICHARD. This will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the school's gym. He has been part of Harcourt School for 26 years so please come and share some stories and give Maurice your best wishes.
The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to
accept film entries for the second annual Kin Film Festival. All School
District 16 students are invited to participate. Films can be submitted
in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category (The Communities Greatest Need). The top 10
films in each category will be screened on May 12th, 2012 at Miramichi
Empire Studio 5. Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for
the winners in each category.
April 15 to April 21 is National Volunteer Week. The students and staff of Harcourt School would like to acknowledge all the awesome volunteers who help make Harcourt School an amazing place to grow and learn. The work you do for the children is so very much appreciated by all of us. You're awesome :)
There will be no classes for students on Friday, March 23, 2012. Parent/Student/Teacher interviews will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday, March 23 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.(Please watch for interview time requests which will be sent home with your child prior to this) Report cards will be going out on Wednesday, March 21.
