Please be advised that on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016, the phone line at Harcourt School will be shut down for approximately 2 hours beginning at 2:00 pm. If you need to get in touch with the school, please try to contact us before that time.
April 10th to April 16th is "National Volunteer Appreciation Week". The group of volunteers at Harcourt School (Home and School Association, PSSC, as well as the staff who volunteer) are the BEST! The school wouldn't be the "Best Little School in the District" without them.
Be sure to thank a volunteer today for the hard work, dedication and love they give us each and every day!
As part of our winter Carnival, we had a Literacy Day where the staff and students were invited to come to school in pajamas to participate in a day devoted to Literacy. We invited several members of the local surrounding communities to come in and share their love of reading with our students.
The Five Day Winter Carnival for Harcourt School for 2016, consisted of several very fun-filled days of activity. We started our carnival by visiting Walsh Sleigh Rides which is situated in Galloway. Mr. Ronnie Walsh provided our students, staff and parents with thrilling rides through the beautiful trails in Galloway. We were introduced to his two very gentil Clysdale Horses who effortlessly pulled us through the snow.
Mr. K. Scully invited Mr. Kevin Watson Manager for Parks and Recreation for the City of Saint John, Executive Director for Boxing NB and former Canadian Boxing Champion and International competitor, to introduce the Fit Box pilot project to Harcourt school children.
