REPORT CARDS will be going home with the students on Friday, March 26, 2010. Parent/Teacher/Student appointments will be attached to the report cards. If you cannot make the scheduled appointment, please call the school at 785-4006 to arrange a more convenient time. Also, the Annual Gymnastics Show will be held on Wednesday, March 31 starting around 1:15 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please note; there will be no school for students on Friday, April 2, 2010, Monday, April 5, 2010 and Friday, April 9, 2010.

Remember, the Flea Market and Bake Sale will be on Saturday, March 20 from 8am to 12pm.   Also, we will be having a bottle drive! So bring along your cans and bottles and drop them off at the firehall. If you need them picked up, please call Jason at 785-4583.   See you there!!

Please note that Report Cards will be going home with the students on Friday, March 26, 2010. Parent/teacher interviews will remain on March 29 from 3pm to 6pm and April 9 from 9am to 12pm. Interview request forms will be sent home this week.

There will be a Flea Market and Bake Sale at the Harcourt Fire Hall on Saturday, March 20 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Tables will be for rent for $10.00 for you to sell your goods or you can donate items for the Home and School table.  We will also need lots of baked goods, so get your family and friends to help! We will be setting up on Friday, March 19  starting at 6:00 pm. If you want to help, but can't make it on March 20, flea market items and baked goods can be dropped off at the school before 1:00 pm on Friday, March 19.

There will be a very important Home and School Meeting on Monday, February 22 at 6:00 pm at the school. The "Hot Lunch Program" will be discussed and options presented as to how to keep this vital program running. Please come and help keep hot lunches in our school for your children.

On Tuesday, February 9, 2010, the students will be going on a bus trip in conjunction with Winter Wonders Week. The bus will leave the school at approximately 9:30. The grade 3/4/5's will be going to the Rexton Curling Club for curling instruction while the K/1/2's will be skating on the outdoor rink there. The Home and School Association will be providing pizza for lunch. A bag lunch should be sent with your child if they don't want pizza. In the afternoon, all students will be going swimming at the pool in St. Louis. Volunteers to come and help are welcome!

There will be a Home and School meeting on Tuesday, January 26 at 6:00 pm. The Valentine's Dance fundraiser will be discussed, as well as other business. The After School "Bible Club" will be cancelled for Wednesday, February 3, 2010. It's business as usual for this week, January 27. "Positive Behaviour Reward Day" will be this Friday, January 29. Keep watching for details on "Winter Wonders" week coming up from February 8 to 12. Daily activities will be posted next week. On Friday, January 22, 2010, the Grade K to 3 students will present their stories for their parents and families to enjoy. This will take place at 1:30 in the afternoon. Please come and enjoy these talented authors. Refreshments will be served!

With the 2010 Winter Games only a few weeks away, the 2010 Wonder+ Fresh Fitness Challenge will be getting our students in the Olympic Spirit with fun, Olympic themed exercises.   The 2008 Challenge saw kids across Canada exercise their way to a new fitness total record of 529 years of time spent exercising, that's 278,238,586 minutes. The goal this year is 550 years! With students across Canada exercising for 20 minutes a day over the 8 week course, that goal will be achieved.  The fun starts January 18 and runs until March 12.
