Welcome back to another school year at Harcourt School. It's going to be an awesome year. While we will miss our grade fives, we have some new faces here this year. Starting Kindergarten are Hayden Cotterell, Aimee Lemon and Madison McPherson. We also have Meagen Peters (grade 1) and Brandon St-Denis (grade 3). Jamie Jacques is back with us for grade 5. Welcome to all of you!!

Monday, June 21 - Sports Day-be sure to wear appropriate clothing for running and jumping.
Wednesday, June 23 - District Track and Field Meet (grades 3/4/5) French Fort Cove (grades K/1/2)
Thursday, June 24 - Awards Day - starting approximately 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Report cards will be going home that day as well.
Friday, June 25 - Last day for students, this will be a half day with students being dismissed at 11:30 am. The busses will leave at this time.

The District 16 Spelling Bee was held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Miramichi. We had two participants, Selena Demmings and Alyssa Roberts. Both girls did a commendable job with Alyssa winning second place for the Grade 3-5 category. Congratulations!!
The Harcourt Home and School Association will be having their annual "Men's Night Out" fundraiser on May 15, 2010 at the Harcourt Legion. The tickets are $30.00 each. The roast beef dinner (men only) will be at 6:30 pm and the ladies can join them for the dance at 9:00 pm. The grand prize is $1000.00 in cash with a prize given to every fifth name drawn. There will be a live band, "Heartland", playing for the dance. For tickets see any member of the Home and School Association or call the school at 785-4006.
April 19 to April 23 is National Volunteer Week.
